different earnings

I am doing ok over here in HK with regards to work, money and life in general, and I am very appreciative about that fact.

HK is indeed a land of opportunity for those that succeed. There are a lot of people that earn "shit loads" of money in this city. But there is also an even bigger portion of the population that earn next to nothing.

Considering that there is one millionaire for every seven adults in Hong Kong Island it is quite shocking to realise that in Hong Kong one in six workers - nearly half a million people - earn less than HK$33 an hour and some 130200 actually get much less.

Since I come from a land of equality and "lagom", I can't help to think that life is not always fair.
