left over

The words "left over" sounds quite negative and lonely don't you think?
So I was thinking yesterday when I was having some lovely left overs how come something that are so good really sounds so bad...?
For the record, I think many times that the left overs are better than the meal was the first time around anyway.
Nothing negative about that at all.
Quite the contrary.
I love left overs.
They are yummy, effortless and take no time at all to heat up.
Only positive adjectives.
So from now on I will think about how left overs make me feel if I ever feel left over, a new perspective on life really and I'm sure that will bring on lots of positive energy.

This week has gone so so fast.
A whole lot to do at work. So I have worked, and worked.
And so the week has just disappeared.
Which is good because I am very tired and tomorrow is a public holiday.
Hurray, bring on the long weekend!

And bring the catching up with my very very good friend Kristina who is arriving from Dubai early tomorrow morning!

here we go again

The Swedish pool party is starting to become a real tradition here in HK that I like.
This year it included celebrities from Sweden as well.




We loudly sang along to good old songs after dinner and danced a bit before we jumped in the water.

disgusting creatures

I am totally disgusted since I've realised that I've been surrounded by cockroaches!!! Honestly, I'm itching all over....
The whole cockroach drama started this morning when I was on the phone to a supplier in Australia. Suddenly there is a small cockroach on the inside of the number display of my office phone.
I hung up and shook the phone.
Out came not only one cockroach...
I screamed.
Got the cockroach spray.
Decided to kill the phone as well as the roaches.
After some serious spraying, we opened my phone and found some 20 odd small roaches inside of it.


My phone was obviously a nest!
And that was only the start...
Since we've started spraying they are everywhere…
Still haven't found the BIG mama roach, and not sure that I want to meet her, but she's got to die!!!
They all got to die!!!
I've sprayed my office and closed the doors to it. Hoping that it will do the trick.
But thing is, if I have a whole colony in my room, they're most likely all over the office...
So I am going to have this office fumed tonight.
And then I will go and jump in a pool, drink alcohol and forget all about these disgusting creatures until Monday morning...

3 weeks went incredible fast.
Sister came and now she's gone (On a plane back home as we speak).

birthday party

Ant got a few more gray hairs last week since he turned one year older.
Today we celebrated the occasion.
On the beach - with friends, lots of food, home made banana and chocolate bread.
The sun was shining upon us first and then the clouds came, but it was still nice and warm.
A very nice Sunday was had.
Happy birthday again Ant.

Ahhhh. The beautiful sun found it's way back to HK.
Which meant that we made the most out of the weekend.
