So a great thing about going to a pj party is that when you get home early the next morning, you don't have to change clothes as you stumble into bed...

public holiday

It's public holiday here tomorrow. A day for sleeping in...!
And a sleep in might be well needed tomorrow, since we're a few "boxers" that are going to a PJ's party tonight. That will be a first one for me, to go out clubbing in a pair of boxer shorts and a singlet (since that's what I sleep in)... So get ready for some PJ pics here tomorrow.

yesterday and today

Last nights best comment was given by a Dutch guy that works with quite a few Swedes at the ICA HK office. He was analysing what generalises us Swedes and this is his 3 words: Structured, Disciplined and Horny! This foreign girl got a good laugh but has also ever since those words were spoken wondered; Are we?!

Today's happiest moment was as I stepped out the door and realised that even though my flip flops were floating around in water outside because of all the rain, my floor inside was actually dry. For the first time in a years' time! Maybe the workers finally got it right when they tried to fix the leaks last time.

Today my company prodly sponsored the yearly SwedCham Golf Tournament here in HK.
And just like last time I got to spend my day in a place with a beautiful view.

The price to the guy who came closest to pin at "my" hole got got a basket full of Swedish goodies. And I created two new Swedish classics... Posten cookies and a Posten scented candle.

It's decided, I'm changing my view!
Not to where I first thought, but still to a bigger and cheaper place, so I'm happy.
And distance to work will be 2 min...

Last night we had dinner with Sweden...

improvement

My awesome boxing trainer Vusi told me yesterday that I'm starting to show real good improvements. Made me smile all through the tough training, the shower and dinner. To be totally honest I was still smiling as I woke up this morning. Isn't it great how a few words can make you feel that good...

good spot

Did a 14 km hike today to a beautiful beach.
Once we arrived we clearly saw that we were not the only ones that regarded this spot as a good spot. So did the cows.
They were just lying around there chillin'. So cute.

new view perhaps

This just might become my new view... A view with green trees.

After viewing probably more than 20 flats (I've lost count) I think I have a favourite.
A favourite that means that if you come and visit me, you'll get your own room.
A favourite that means that I can cook you dinner an serve it at a dinner table (haven't had space to do that in over 2 years...).
A favourite that means cheaper rent.

It's a winner.

Anyway, the hunting this year have been much more painless than last years hunt. The prospects much nicer and the prices more reasonable.
