sick of being sick

It's an evil virus that is making me feel this bad.
Thurday today, and I still have fever, not as high as before anymore, but still...
I'm sick of being sick.
And to make things worse, my extended family arrived this morning, and I am still bound to bed.

Anyway, great having them here!! And in a few days I'll be a better host, I promise.

Been back in HK a week now, and it feels like I've never left...
Nothing good or bad about that, it is just the way it is... I reckon living in the present is a good thing.

And I got back to (after a big flight delay and many hours of boring waiting) a happy Kris and an apartment with beautiful flowers (Kris certainly knows how to make a girl feel special - I like!).
Work is busy as always, no change there.
The weekend that passed was very relaxed, spent many hours on my beautiful balcony with a book in my hand. Went bowling, watched movies and then on Sunday evening I got hit...

Hit by some stupid bug that makes me feel like shit... Was standing on my balcony and just started freezing like a maniac... Have had high fever for 3 days now and a thumbing headache. So today I'm going to the doctor. I need drugs, the pain killers are not enough anymore and I want to get well!

Actually I desperately need to get well, cause Thursday morning my friends (my extended family really...) Sofia, Patrik, Gustav and Maya are arriving, and I can't take care of them if I feel like this. Right now keeping my eyes open is an effort... So I will let you go now and just close my eyes again...

Got it all during my holiday.

A Swedish summer compromised into one week

Sunshine and rain. Good food and great company. Green meadows and mosquitoes. Chilling and sightseeing. Stockholm and Vadstena. Fikas and cocktails. Catching ups and shopping. Boat ride and walks.

Had a really good time.

So glad that I managed to see so many of you. (Miss you and love you) But sad that I didn't get to see all of you. A week is just not enough time... But hope I will see you soon anyway, here, there or else where...

denmark

After a very short week of holiday in my beautiful home country (pics will come later) it was time to go to the head office in Denmark.

Quite an interesting week to be honest. And definitely a week of good food! Yum.

Some sightseeing was done too. The little mermaid, the castle, Nyhamn and Christiania. And we couldn't have had a better guide... Thank you so much Morten! It was a great afternoon and night. (See you soon again, and then we will have to drink a few cocktails to celebrate my 26th birthday!)

not so foreign...

When walking the streets of Sthlm I don't feel like the wrinkly giant that I usually do when walking the streets of HK. This foreign babe is not so foreign here...

And as I walk the streets I realise how much I have missed the outstanding beauty of this city... The islands and the water surrounding it, the sun light with its rays that glimmering spreads a warm touch onto all the old beautiful buildings. And the rays also warm up the people of this city, and on a day like today with clear blue sky and a beeming sun the people are walking the streets with big smiles on their faces. Just like I do.

It's great to be back. To catch up with all my loved ones.

sweden here I come

On Saturday morning I'm leaving beautiful sunny HK for a week of Swedish cold and rainy summer weather... In spite of that I'm feeling very exited about going back home for a while. Mum's food, green meadows and fresh air plus all the people that I love and miss! Lot's of catching up to do! Can't wait!!

And I want to see as many people as I can and hope you have time to see me.
Below I will provide my travel itinerary, so you know where to find me during my much too short holiday... Come and see me! Please!! Regardless of where I am or what I do (Hjärnegatan 5 - fixing up the apartment for the new tenant, in the country house chopping wood, or staying at Royal Viking Hotel Sthlm - sightseeing with a colleague/friend from HK) you are welcome - I just want to see you!!

Jag åker härifrån på lördag morgon (4/8) och anländer till Sthlm på lördag kväll. Kommer vara i Sthlm tom nästa tisdag dvs 7/8, då jag åker ner till Vadstena (till mor & fars sommarstuga), kommer åka upp till Sthlm igen på lördagen (11/8) och sen åker jag ner till Danmark på måndagen (13/8) där jag stannar en vecka för att jobba på huvudkontoret. Återvänder till Sthlm igen fredagen den 17:e på kvällen och åker vidare hem till HK på söndagskvällen den 19:e.
